Great Gatsby: Before and after VFX

Chris Godfrey, the VFX supervisor on Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, has released a film that shows how the set looked before and after the team’s VFX work was added to the shots.

The video reveals how the art deco palaces, stunning sunsets and towering New York skylines were conjured out of a sea of green screens and blue sheeting, and then manipulated to transport viewers into an art-deco era New York City fairly tale.

From blue and green screens to spectacular silver screen scenes, it’s truly eye opening…
