Jewell Station Gets Green Light from Council

Design - by Open Journal

We are very excited to announce that Neometro has received planning consent for our new project at Jewell Station, Brunswick.

Our vision is to create a New Urban Village — a series of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments will be built in conjunction with a breadth of shared public infrastructure designed to support wellbeing and connectivity amongst the community.

The Jewell project provides us with an ideal canvas to focus on development that supports social, community and environmental outcomes.

Project sales will commence mid 2016.

Placeholder Cafe will provide specialty coffee and a new meeting spot for commuters along the popular Upfield bike track.

3000acres will bring the site to life, expanding their urban farming project to provide community garden pockets throughout the site.

We will also be launching a series of on site events focused on design, art, food and wellness. Our hub will invite the wider neighbourhood to Jewell Station for an ongoing program of talks, workshops, performances and installations.

We look forward to sharing more information with you as we lead up to the launch of the New Urban Village at Jewell Station.
