Some love him and some hate him, and Velvet Underground founder Lou Reed, writing for music website The Talkhouse, is full of praise for Kanye West.

In a glowing, lengthy and passionate review of West’s sixth album Yeezeus, Reed concludes “this guy is seriously smart” and “if you like sound, listen to what he’s giving you”.
