MA Architects: Inhabited Spaces

Design - by Open Journal

MA Architects have recently rebranded. Bold and weighted in negative space, the firm’s new graphical persona reflects their perceptive outlook.

As a practice, MA Architects is interested in how the projects they design are occupied and how their occupation transforms the architecture from empty apartments to homes.

To further explore this theme, MAA commissioned U_P and Sean Fennessy to shoot a series of photographs at the recently completed George Corner apartments. This offered an opportunity to see a familiar building through a different lens.

Each photographic ‘moment’ varies in materiality, texture and location, but collectively they continue MAA’s investigation of the spaces we inhabit and the finely crafted details that furnish our interiors.
