Travellers seeking a tailored and truly local experience when overseas now have access to a brand new online community, Tripfuser. Tripfuser allows Travellers to create hand-crafted trips, curated specifically to their taste by Local Experts on the ground.

Travellers design their own travel experience by simply creating a Wishlist, or by searching sample trips in the Tripfuser Trip Gallery that can be booked “as is”, or personalised prior to booking. The Wishlist is shared directly with local experts based in the destination of choice (who are pre-vetted by Tripfuser). These experts take the users’ Wishlist and apply their local knowledge to design a personalised web-based bookable Trip Plan, which Travellers can share with friends and family. Travellers define how many Trip Plans they’d like to receive (each from a different Local Expert) as well as a timeframe for when they need the itinerary. Inbuilt chat capabilities allows direct collaboration between the Traveller and Local Expert to finalise the trip.

Tripfuser also offers budget-friendly as well as luxury options for Travellers. Nepal and Vietnam are currently available on the platform, with Cambodia, Thailand and more destinations to launch in the coming months.

The personalised Trip Plan is developed without charge, as Tripfuser does not apply a fee until time of booking. The platform offers a cancellation policy where users pay a 20 per cent deposit upon booking and have a 48-hour booking window to cancel without penalty. They can cancel up to 60 days before travel with the deposit being moved towards a future Tripfuser trip.
